This tour takes you around the western part of Bhutan – The Land of Peace. The country is blessed with a beautiful yet unspoiled nature, and the unique Himalayan culture. After arriving at Paro airport, our trip starts with discovering Thimphu, Gangtey valley, then to Punakha and Paro valley, each of these destinations are interesting in their own way for tourists. Visits to Buddha Point, Tiger’s Nest, Dzongs and Gangtey Goemba – the only Nyingmapa monastery in this region are the highlights of this tour. There will be some hikes during the tour are added for tourists to enjoy the view of nature, majestic mountains, lush valleys and dense forests of Bhutan.

Day 01 : Arrival at Paro Airport and Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro Airport, clear customs and immigration, and keep your visa clearance letter handy. Meet your guide and driver outside the terminal and drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Explore key attractions, including Buddha Point, the Traditional School of Arts and Crafts, and the impressive Tashichho Dzong. Enjoy a relaxing evening stroll through the city, soaking in the local atmosphere.

After breakfast, proceed to visit Buddha Dordenma, located atop a hill in Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park, The massive statue of Shakyamuni made of bronze and is gilded in gold, measures 51.5 meters in height, making it one of the largest statues, in Bhutan. 125,000 smaller Buddha statues have been placed within the Buddha Dordenma statue, and then visit King’s Memorial Chorten continuously circumambulator by people, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels, it serves both as a memorial to the Late King and as a monument to peace. Post Lunch visit Textile Museum to experience the living national art of weaving, Folk Heritage Museum is dedicated to connecting people with the rich Bhutanese Folk heritage and rural history through exhibits, demonstrations, educational programs and documentation of Bhutanese rural life. Tashichho Dzong is the center of government and religion, site of monarch’s throne room and seat of Je Khenpo or Chief Abbot. Overnight say in Thimphu.

After breakfast, proceed to visit Dochula pass is located on the way to Punakha from Thimphu where you can enjoy the 360 degree panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range. Visit Druk Wangyal Lhakhang temple, later proceed to Punakha, and check into the hotel, Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong which is located between the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu Rivers in the Punakha–valley. Later in the day explore Wangdue town and its market. Overnight say in Punakha.

Embark on a captivating Gangtey Sightseeing tour, exploring the picturesque Phobjikha Valley, a majestic glacial valley surrounded by towering mountain peaks. Visit the stunning Gangtey Monastery, a 17th-century Nyingma monastery, perched on a hill overlooking the valley. Explore the quaint Gangtey village, interacting with the friendly locals and experiencing their unique culture. Take a scenic hike through the valley, witnessing the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding landscape and spotting rare bird species, including the endangered black-necked crane. As you immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere of Gangtey, discover the perfect blend of natural beauty, culture, and spirituality that defines this enchanting valley.

Depart from Gangtey and embark on a scenic drive to Punakha, traversing through the picturesque Phobjikha Valley and the majestic Black Mountain ranges. En route, stop at the stunning Lawa La Pass, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain peaks and the surrounding landscape. Continue driving through the scenic valleys and villages, witnessing the traditional Bhutanese way of life. Upon arrival in Punakha, visit the iconic Punakha Dzong, a majestic fortress monastery situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Explore the surrounding valley and villages, immersing yourself in the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of Punakha.

Depart from Punakha and embark on a scenic drive to Paro, traversing through the picturesque valleys and villages of Bhutan. En route, stop at the iconic Dochula Pass, adorned with 108 memorial stupas, and take in the breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range. Continue driving through the scenic valleys, witnessing the traditional Bhutanese way of life, and arrive in Paro in the afternoon. Visit the iconic Ta Dzong, a 17th-century watchtower turned museum, and explore the charming Paro town, filled with colorful shops, cafes, and restaurants. As you settle into your hotel, take in the tranquil atmosphere of Paro, surrounded by majestic mountain peaks and lush green valleys.

Embark on a thrilling Chelela Pass Hike, the highest motorable pass in Bhutan, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range. Begin the hike from the Chelela Pass, situated at an altitude of 3,988 meters, and trek through the picturesque alpine forests, adorned with rhododendron and juniper trees. As you ascend to the summit, witness the majestic views of the surrounding mountains, including the sacred Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake peaks. The hike also offers a glimpse into the unique flora and fauna of the region, including the rare blue poppy. After a thrilling hike, return to Paro, taking back memories of the breathtaking natural beauty of Chelela Pass.

Embark on a captivating Paro Sightseeing tour, exploring the natural beauty, cultural heritage, and historic landmarks of this picturesque valley. Begin the day with a visit to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Palphug Monastery), dramatically perched on a cliff overlooking the valley. Next, explore the ancient Rinpung Dzong, a majestic fortress monastery that showcases Bhutan’s rich architectural heritage. After lunch, visit the National Museum of Bhutan, housed in the 17th-century Ta Dzong watchtower, and delve into the country’s fascinating history, culture, and traditions. Conclude the day with a stroll through the charming Paro town, filled with colorful shops, cafes, and restaurants.
