Our expert guides will take you to the stunning Paro Valley, the vibrant capital city of Thimphu, and the scenic Punakha and Phobjikha Valleys, where you’ll discover the rich heritage and traditions of the Bhutanese people. Visit the iconic Cheri Monastery and the majestic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, two of the kingdom’s most revered sites, and delve into the history and significance of Bhutan’s ancient Dzongs, most of which date back to the 17th century. As you wander through Bhutan’s charming towns, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the country’s unique cultural heritage, lifestyle, and Buddhist traditions, and experience the warm hospitality of the Bhutanese people.

Day 01 : Arrival at Paro Airport and Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro Airport, clear customs and immigration, and keep your visa clearance letter handy. Meet your guide and driver outside the terminal and drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Explore key attractions, including Buddha Point, the Traditional School of Arts and Crafts, and the impressive Tashichho Dzong. Enjoy a relaxing evening stroll through the city, soaking in the local atmosphere.

After breakfast, proceed to visit Buddha Dordenma, located atop a hill in Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park, The massive statue of Shakyamuni made of bronze and is gilded in gold, measures 51.5 meters in height, making it one of the largest statues, in Bhutan. 125,000 smaller Buddha statues have been placed within the Buddha Dordenma statue, and then visit King’s Memorial Chorten continuously circumambulator by people, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels, it serves both as a memorial to the Late King and as a monument to peace. Post Lunch visit Textile Museum to experience the living national art of weaving, Folk Heritage Museum is dedicated to connecting people with the rich Bhutanese Folk heritage and rural history through exhibits, demonstrations, educational programs and documentation of Bhutanese rural life. Tashichho Dzong is the center of government and religion, site of monarch’s throne room and seat of Je Khenpo or Chief Abbot. Overnight say in Thimphu.

After breakfast, proceed to visit Dochula pass is located on the way to Punakha from Thimphu where you can enjoy the 360 degree panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range. Visit Druk Wangyal Lhakhang temple, later proceed to Punakha, and check into the hotel, Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong which is located between the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu Rivers in the Punakha–valley. Later in the day explore Wangdue town and its market. Overnight say in Punakha.

Gangtey Nature Trail – A scenic trail of the Phobjikha Valley, a Unesco World Heritage Site.
A popular trail leading to a small hilltop overlooking Gangtey Goemba to lovely flower meadows and into Semchubara village. The trail continues through pristine forests of blue pine to the valley viewpoint where the trail ends at the Khewang temple.

Black-necked Crane Visitor Centre- The center focuses on sustainable ecotourism activities, environmental education, and conservation programs in Phobjikha valley. The building’s location allows people to overlook the wetlands, which is the Black-necked crane’s habitat.
Cycling or hiking in the valley as well as watching the cranes during the winter months. Stop for tea or lunch in a traditional farmhouse.

Chimi Lhakhang- Hike to the Temple of Fertility (altitude: 1,500m). An enjoyable hike, taking about 30 minutes through the rice and mustard fields and the uniquely decorated houses of Lobasa Village.

Embark on a captivating Punakha Sightseeing tour, exploring the majestic landscapes and cultural heritage of this scenic valley. Begin the day with a visit to the stunning Punakha Dzong, the “Palace of Great Happiness,” situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. After lunch, delve into the fascinating history of the Chimi Lhakhang Temple, dedicated to the revered “Divine Madman.” Conclude the day with a leisurely stroll through the picturesque village of Sopsokha, surrounded by lush rice fields. Throughout the tour, immerse yourself in the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of Punakha, guided by an expert English-speaking guide.

Depart from Punakha and embark on a scenic drive to Paro, traversing through the picturesque valleys and majestic mountain landscapes of Bhutan. En route, stop at the majestic Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in Bhutan, and explore its intricate architecture and rich history. Continue driving through the stunning Dochula Pass, adorned with 108 memorial stupas, and take in the breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range. Upon arrival in Paro, visit the iconic Ta Dzong, a 17th-century watchtower turned museum, and explore the charming Paro town, filled with colorful shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Begin the day with a visit to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Palphug Monastery), dramatically perched on a cliff overlooking the valley. After lunch, visit the National Museum of Bhutan, housed in the 17th-century Ta Dzong watchtower, and delve into the country’s fascinating history, culture, and traditions. Conclude the day with a stroll through the charming Paro town, filled with colorful shops, cafes, and restaurants.
